A black stripe at the horizon like a thunderstorm. Slowly but unstoppable it approaches, the army of darkness. Fear spreads across the faces, they call them the lawless. The henchmen of evil, the henchmen of evil. The hoof-beats resound down the hill as the riders invade into the village. They murder and plunder and set the huts on fire. The people run for cover, without a chance of resistance. Never before he was ever seen. No one knows just where he came from. It is unknown where his path will lead him. For too long fear was buried in their heads as a gloomy shadow. The will to live was eradicated deep inside. They had already forgotten to rise against injustice. And so his words sounded like in ancient times. Dying on your feet, instead of living on your knees, to unite yourselves into one joint power. He roused the fire inside their minds, the fire to fight. For themselves, for freedom and a better world. Follow me folks! We will unite our forces. Follow your hearts and reach out to the stars. Altogether in one strong allegiance. Side by side – our rebirth of hope Fear that you felt – leave it all far behind No one will ever lead us astray. There we stand with power and believe. Whatever we want we can achieve. For years they were enslaved, forced to serve and to remain fucking silent. They were taken everything they once created. Agonized, banned and damned to obey, never to own a life of freedom in this world. Running into the storm to end the suffering. Destiny will guide you. Clouds of smoke are rising up to the skies. They extinguish their fires and stride along into the night. For the time has come to face injustice. Side by side, with swords ready to fight. And the nightly gale is blowing in their faces. Beyond the valley the enemy is slumbering in deceptive security, not able to foresee what is going to happen in this night. The stranger leads the troops towards the evil castle and their courage is stronger than any solid masonry. Side by side, with swords ready to fight. A signal tears the veil of dawn. A horn is blown – the battle begins. There’s no escape, no turning back. With a wild resoluteness they attack the castle. The sleeping adversary is befallen with the voracity of a hellish tempest. Swords are clinging and arrows cut through the thick fog. They are storming onward, staring forward, never turning back, with strained expressions and a gloomy look. They have sworn: victory or death! They are fighting the battle for freedom. They are fighting the battle for honour. They are fighting the battle of their lives. They are fighting the BATTLE OF RETALIATION! The draw bridge falls down as they attack the gate. The first defence lines are overrun. The enemy is rearing – a thunderous fight starts. Casualties occur on both sides but the end is coming closer. Eventually, the enemy is lying on the ground. A last rearing and then it is accomplished. The enemy is defeated, the battle is over. Exhausted but satisfied, for now they are free, they raise their flags and deep into the night their chants can be heard, bringing victory to their fatherland.
