Ancient Prophecy

The rain is gone. I still can smell it in the air I raise my head and see the clouds fading away. I clear my view and see the crystal night blue sky. In every second a new sparkle hits my eyes. The stars so beautiful are made for you and me. They show His grace and might from now until eternity. I see the stars up there and I am shaken to the core Because I realize what they are standing for. I look up to the stars and tell you what I see. I can see the wonders He did for you and me, The world of the King illuminated by a million stars. A million stars Every spark an angel heading for the day. When the king returns, they fall like fire from the sky. Think about that when you see the million stars. A million stars You can see his wonders, they happen every day. But this world is fast and sick. It's changing every day. Clear your view and trust the Lord, then things will be so clear. Looking through the eyes of Jesus, you will see it, have no fear. All the small wonders getting big and He will show you how they work. A million … Stars A million … Stars I look up to the stars and …

There is one more night you have to go through, Scared, sitting in a corner waiting for tomorrow. You feel the pain as if it were now; you wish it would be over, But sorry, dear, I have to tell you, that this is the beginning. Dark, dark memories grow in your mind. Out of the dark come the bad kind. Dark memories make your soul blind. Come turn 'round and fight; step into the light! The breath of darkness fills your heart. Do you think it's the right way? Don't you think Someone might help? Who gives the power to rise up, Go through the gate of darkness To get back the life you lost to these dark memories? Dark, dark memories grow in your mind. Out of the dark come the bad kind. Dark memories make your soul blind. Come turn 'round and fight; step into the light!

There were times when I was damned and blind, Daily filled with sin I tried to hide. I rushed through my life all the time. No one loved me or gave a dime. Then one day it was all revealed. I see the light now. I can feel it. Holy, holy, holy, holy blood. Holy, holy, holy, holy blood. Your holy blood That washes us clean, Your holy blood That saved us from our sins, The revelation of Your endless love, We will worship You with all we have. sanguis sanctus , effusus cruciati Now I can follow you and go to the lost ones. Wanna try to show them how Your love can change things – Your endless love that makes me free Through your blood You poured out for me. Holy, holy, holy … Everything is possible. I let You take my hand. With Your endless love, You guide me to the Promised Land. There are doubts that cut me down; You make them fade away. I'm thankful for the gift You gave. Holy, holy, holy …

Hatred is all—is all that they know. It surges around them—an ocean so cold. Disconsolate souls, such lone castaways— Devour their minds, and they can't swim away. Have you been to this island, domain of the grudge god? If you wade out too far, you will never return, For the waters will rise, till your heart and your lungs stop. Only heaven can help—dry the seas, make the sun burn! Separation's the worst kind of agony. Suffer alone, grating sand is your company. Back heavy laden with nothing at all— Do they care anymore if I stand or I fall? I want off of this island, domain of the grudge god! I've waded out so far. Can I ever return? Though the waters may rise, I keep trying to trudge on. Will the Savior arise, burn these skies, shake this cistern? Turn this ocean into a pond. I want a supernova dawn. Three-and-a-half years I spent with the beast, and then three-point-five more, drowning, hoping for peace. Seven ate nine of the worst years in twelve But I thank the good Lord that He ended this hell. Have you been to this island, domain of the grudge god? If you wade out too far, you will never return, For the waters will rise, till your heart and your lungs stop. Only heaven can help—dry the seas, make the sun burn!

Last hour enters her life, The wounds are painful. Only minutes, see this woman Cry out, death is gaining ground. The blood becomes thicker And her heartbeat gets slower Two figures, right next to her— Their names known by everyone. Panic—time's slipping away Panic in darkness—she is looking for help. Desperation—she's frightened of… The point—of no return, The decision before—of what's wrong and right. Choose your way—before it's too late, Before the point of no turnin' back. She drops down into the lake of death, Her soul without a destination, No rescue from eternal sleep And lost in the game of life. She remembers the Man on the cross. She had never chosen that light! He shed His blood for her. Finally we'll see who is right! The last finger drowns in the lake. Now she's ready to turn back. Death waves its forefinger: “It's too late darling, you've crossed the line.” The point—of no return …

Don't only live to die. There's a burning flame inside, Giving me all the power that I need To bring out this name, To freak out on stage, To write the lyrics in my brain. Make me wise to see. What's your plan for me? 'Cause I want to be In your family. I thank God for this life. I can survive All this insanity This world prepares for me. Jesus you guide me Through the night, Make my life meaningful. A mission is on for me. You are my ground. You are the sound. You are the sense of all. In You I can rest my soul. I will spread your Word So it will be heard. Make my life meaningful. This is what I thank You for. Every time I was in doubt, Every time I lost my ground, Every time that I was caught by sin, I could not deny your grace. I was held by mighty hands And knew where I could find a place to rest. Make me wise to see … I than God for this life … When I am struggling with myself, Your Word will give me guidance – Meaningful, so strong and true, All my sorrows washed away. I thank God for this life.

(inspired by Matt. 7:1-5) The sun that is shining and warning mankind Still has a critic who thinks something's wrong with her. The man in the moon mocks her sunspots at noon, But midnight is when he's the most in need of her. His path is set in the sky for all times, Spinning and orbiting like a dreidel around her. He looks at himself and sees only emptiness So he steals her power in the hope he'll seem greater. “Hey hypocrite, you just shine by stealing my sunlight! But the rays you're reflecting are empty and cold.” In shame, she collapses into a black hole 'Cause she's had enough of the critic that slanders her. The harvest is failing and rots on the ground. The sun is done shining and won't give him an answer. The green grass is dying; it's getting too cold. The moon recognizes he's a cold rock without her. While we freeze to death in darkness profound, The moon now regrets the disdain he once showed her. “Hey hypocrite, you just shine by stealing my sunlight But the rays you're reflecting are empty and cold.” In blindness the moon now finally knows That the sunspots were nothing; he shouldn't make fun of them. The pain and the cold are too much to bear. He curses his greed for more light that compelled him. His cratered face was right under his nose! All the power he thought he once had has been stripped from him. The peacock's been plucked; his tail is bare. Will she ever come back, reignite, share her light with him? Hey hypocrite, when all you notice is the spot in a friend's eye, You'll fail to see the plank in your own.

We hold together in distress 'n misery Today and in eternity. The flaming fire in our heart, We'll fight for the people. Lord of my soul, Savior of the world, Fighter for the broken ones, Soon Your time will come. You give encouragement And care about me. You know my thoughts and my needs, Always by my side, even beyond death. I lay my life in Your hands, Cause you are the Lord of my soul. Lord of my soul, Savior of the world, Fighter for the broken ones, Soon Your time will come.

I see powerful pillars and steel ropes. Does my faith suffice to walk on it? My trust is low. I don't know much about it. I can't cross over; It's too far, too long to reach the end. My other foot stays on the dry ground. My faith grows because The bridge holds every step, “Keep going! I can bear all your wight! I'll maintain your faith to the end!” And HE holds me, Doesn't give up, won't break HE is the bridge bearing thousands of tons, Built up for my faith, Even when I'm weak again. The bridge is my Savior! My faith is weak. I mistakenly doubt the bridge's strength. Days I don't believe what I should have. My faith seems fake; Even though the bridge holds me, I don't trust it. Should I risk taking another step? Will my faith in the bridge hold me up? I can't cross over; it's too far. My foot stays planted on dry ground. My faith grows … Nothing in me saves me! Nothing in me makes me righteous! But if I step onto the bridge, I will be. By faith small as an atom, Too small and puny to cross the bridge, Please, my Savior, feed my faith So that I reach my goal. My faith grows …

You see the world is torn to pieces When you turn on the TV. The flood of tears is endless. The soil is drenched in fear. Look, these eyes are so empty, Left alone, covered with scars. You can have the power To fight the darkness in your heart. War room … Everyone should have a war room. It's a place to fight your fear. This is where words turn into weapons, Where everything is nice and clear. Look, these eyes are so empty, Left alone, covered with scars. You can have the power To fight the darkness in your heart. War room … Prayer is the link to our Savior He is the ever-shining light. And when your eyes see only darkness, The fire in your heart is burning bright. Those eyes look so empty, Left alone, covered with scars. You can have the power To fight the darkness in your heart. Psalm 23:1-4a The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil …

Here I am, left alone 'Cause You went out of my life. It seemed to be on the same plane, New and yet complete. And now I think what's gone, Think what's left. But Lord, You're my last resort, Could always count on You. Solid as a rock, You are always by my side. This is my testimony. No one loves me more than You. I run away from this love. I belong to You. Cannot hide from Your love. Brighter than the sun. Lights up the deepest cave, The darkest places in my heart. Flooded by Your grace, This is my testimony. Hold me tight. Guide me to the light. You catch me when I fall. I lie down and I crawl. You can watch me as I fall. Please, no darkness at all! Raise me up with the voice from the deep. Your thunder breaks all spells. This is my testimony …
