We awaken No one left to guide us through Counting virtues, and no flaws Fear the oracle And prophecies becoming truths Are we destined to rise Or do we crumble Can we live on Or will we die in solitude Viscous cycle Mistakes we made we can’t undo Nothing sacred In our minds Haunted by the past Hunted by the demons Erasing the stars Crest of a title wave Falling apart In fragments In the absence of wisdom Searching for a better way All the elders perished now We live in the eye of storms We are now the demons We’ve become the snakes Following the footsteps Of the ones we hate
