As I lay awake And watch the room's slow decay, I'm breathing heavy, I have chosen, And this is the only way. And as I scream the whispers And I listen for delay Wander through the smoke and mirrors And i'll live as one, as flame. Seeing past the answers, Looking through the sky Learn to see, view it all, Breathe, and close your eyes Revel in this overthrow, Silence is denial, Burning shallow symphonies, Leave this all behind. I am carved and painted In glorious display I am living, and golden, I am parchment, I am clay. I have no fear, no weakness, The walls are whispering my name, I am power I am perfect I will live as one, as flame. Seeing past the answers, Looking through the sky Learn to see, view it all, Breathe, and close your eyes Revel in this overthrow, Silence is denial, Burning shallow symphonies, Leave this all behind. So, have you learned to see, open up? Fear reduced to charcoal, And in passion, you will find it all, In this flame, you will become whole.

Part 1: Awakening Accelerate. Part 2: Aware Finally awake, Millennia of slumber, Finally aware, Infinite cracks in the mechanical monolith. Final understanding, An open mind will see, Her light is where it all begins, And ends, and through Her, man is free. Bask in light that surrounds, Revel in warmth, Her grace, Forget. Infinite cracks in the mechanical monolith, Infinite cracks in the mechanical metropolis, Infinite cracks in the softest flesh. Part 3: Power So powerful in our abilities, Creating more than we could be, Destroying every inch of flesh Our eyes would let us see, We opened up our consciousness. More powerful Percentages rise More powerful Test patients die More powerful Adoration for those still alive We were never aided By our own creations We simply made up better thoughts And put them on display Part 4: Machinations Mankind eroded Mechanical custodian Our new angel of Death Dust fills the sky, Blood in the tides, Helpless to our own machinations. Part 5: Revelations As her light reaches us Rising on a new day Light touches air Already full of past mistakes She claims more satellites Unbeknownst to those below Who continue breathing As the ruins glow. Never faltering in her release We’re swept away by tides of light She becomes aware Of her presence in the sky Her presence in our lives She is awake, She has become, Real, imagined, mother, father Life, death, light and shade, Blood and water, She is made. Look on and smile, At the rise of a new god. The rise of a real god, We welcome the Dawn. Infinite cracks in the mechanical monolith, Infinite cracks in the softest flesh.

Staring into my own Face No middle ground, I see it - each time they drown, in this ghostly memory: I'm staring into my own eyes, across from me Two sets of eyes i recognise all too well, as they mourn the loss of the Fulcrum. soft-wings, mourning, silent, silver tears falling, in silence, torn, confusion, as the balance is tipped. No middle ground, I see it - each time they drown, in this faded memory: I'm staring into my own eyes, across from me Two sets of eyes i recognise all too well, As they mourn the loss of the Fulcrum. The loss of the Fulcrum

Part one: Twilight There once was a girl, and her name was ashes. Never introduced to such a being as love, She found solace and wonder in the stars up above. There once was a girl, and her name was ashes. She lies alone, sleepless nights. Cold sheets, cold sweat, no company. World uninterrupted. She didn’t know what was to come, No fear, no need, just innocence, When He came. His breath was smooth, a liquor-sweet, Sandpaper touch, their eyes would meet, Suggestive stare. Weak knees saw strong arms do their work, He lay her down on softest grass, Inviting. Hands of stone tear finest silk, her cries for help unheard, A muffled moan through crushing palm, she sinks into the earth. He cuts her deep, and deeper still, he won’t let her scar, Without a scream, her lifeless eyes look into the stars. Kerosene candle, human form it takes, There is no escape, there is no escape. Part 2: Midnight Guilty fingers trickle sand, Shared thoughts like waves come rolling in, Lapping at his heels, cleansing… forgiven. But something sticks in the back of his mind, He knows, He knows, He will never again be clean. This doesn’t wash away. Run. He’ll run. Run. And he’ll think to himself: This hollow is me… All I cannot see… And I just can’t believe… Like shadows of grace, as grace falls from me. Grace falls. Grace falls. Grace falls… from me. Part 3: First Light The sun is rising So many, she’s just one other So why does she stick in his mind so? And the sun is rising Rising There is nothing he can do Solace in her Ashes Desire, like fire, licks through his veins Solace in her Ashes No reasons, no remorse Solace in her Ashes She will be no more Solace in her Ashes He knows he’ll do it again The tide is coming back in The warmth of his skin As he drops to his knees The warmth of her lips Engraved on his memory The warmth of a heartbeat Now frozen in time The warmth of forgiveness Forever out of reach The warmth of her life He had stolen and taken The warmth of his tears He had stolen and taken The warmth of his tears Turns to anger at last. He walks alone, sleepless nights No fear no need, his confidence His world, corrupted He had to find another face Another nameless face Another victim in who’s eyes, he can fall, Fall from grace Once was a girl Once was a girl Her name was Ashes Her essence desire Her body aflame Her essence desire, Her body aflame, Her destiny emblazoned in the letters of her name... Ashes There once was a girl her name was Ashes

The light washes over me Awake, but unfamiliar... another day of memories awaits I'll breathe for you, I need you here, shadow of an embrace another path, another love or hate These memories await you, they may not seem your own, nothing awaits but what you choose to know these memories await you, proof waits for the blind, nothing anticipates like what you've left behind. I am not afraid of memories... These memories await you, a path, a state of mind, nothing awaits but what you choose to know, these memories await you, proof waits for the blind, nothing anticipates like what you've left behind. It's alright. It's alright. It's alright.
