"Did you perhaps transgress even somewhat beyond this offence? Yes, i caused mortals to cease foreseeing their doom. Of what sort was the cure that you found for this affliction? I caused blind hope to dwell within their breasts. A great benefit was this you gave to mortals. In addition, I gave them fire...." It spoke of who would fall Words of ruin etched into stone Oceans will ebb beneath the weight of sand Old ways to devour the world An old chaos awakens Behold the utter end Who is this shadow on an antler throne? Obscured by the fires of endless funeral pyres He is the abyss, reflecting itself When he speaks, the skies will thirst An old chaos awakens Behold the utter end This mortal race will disappear. Other races will appear and disappear in turn. The sky will become icy and void, pierced by the feeble light of half-dead stars, which will also disappear. And what sentient beings do, is as senseless as the free motion of elementary particles Morte Sumus! His whisper found my ears "Why do you think it is, the dead lie rotting and torn" "Rejoice for i have risen... ...Pestilence made flesh" An old chaos awakens Behold the utter end

Mortals see the gods as shaped like them But i have seen their true form Radiant spite, arcane light Divine martyr? Their passing unmourned They worship lies They worship..... ....Shadows that never fade Saviors that never save Atone Beyond the gates of flesh and bone Millions were flayed alive so that a new skin could be sown on to their bleeding bodies. Many of the subjects of the experiment perished, while those who survived did so in their old, scarred distorted flesh Decaying towers fall, becoming dust Burning worlds in their wake And by their cold righteous will They bask in the heathen sun They worship lies They worship.... .....Shadows .....Saviors Atone Beyond the gates of flesh and bone Shadows that never fade Saviors that never save Atone Beyond the gates of flesh and bone Dis Aliter Visum

....So when the last and dreadful hour This crumbling pageant shall devour, The trumpet shall be heard on high, The dead shall live, the living die, And music shall untune the sky Weakness, erodes my bones Bringing the death of the earth And the birth of the gods It crept into the world Behind serenic light I implore thee, eater of death Devour my heart Transcendence Leaving the language extinct And the parchment aflame It crept into the world Behind serenic light I implore thee, eater of death Devour my heart I wish I were not of this world, that i had died before, or had not yet been born Old ones, burn the masks from their animal faces Flayed ones, my skin and my flesh are made old Bound ones, waiting for a savior that will never come Dead lands, a place I dwell forever They will endeavor to preserve the eternal ebb of seasons, to trample on wombs of despised souls, to leave the sun obscured, and they will cut from our tongues, the blasphemy of truth, the plague of conciliation, the shame of salvation, and the tragedy of thought Cascade of tarnished blood Rise, monarch of ruins Embers obscure the sun Remorseless Rise, monarch of ruins Embers obscure the sun Old ones, burn the masks from their animal faces Flayed ones, my skin and my flesh are made old Bound ones, waiting for a savior that will never come Dead lands, a place I dwell forever

Immortal? No They cannot be These creatures Do you hear them, see them O prophet, O sun Will you condemn them, absolve them O betrayer of all Countless winters since the fall A world that drowned in blood and oil Fallen, I observe I foresee oceans and flame As gods and mortals both must fail I am cast down Do you need them, revere them O prophet, O sun Will you shame them, redeem them O betrayer of all Twisted mountains carved from bone Perverse, they leave a hollow stone And so it is, I observe For their weakness, I am chained And from the vengeance of the earth There is nowhere to hide Immortal? No They cannot be These creatures Close observation is crucial as the disease can leave undesirable flaws on the skin of the flayed body. As it consumes the open air, decomposition sets in and the hide begins to shed its hair, furthered by immersion in stone vats of archaic essence. I scrape away remaining umpurities with a curved knife The skin will dry and tighten, drawn on a wooden frame. It will shrink and become tighter still as it does so. The parchment, now imbued with my torment, will last for infinite years. In truth, I have flayed the souls of conquered cities, and draped the walls with their skins Do you breathe them, exalt them O prophet, O sun Will you bleed them, renew them O betrayer of all On this path all hopes collapse Leaving empty space behind Bleak, my tomb I am done with these cruel beasts But they are not yet done with me And so it is, I engage Immortal? No They cannot be These creatures .........Nor I

With the heads of their progeny Tied about their necks The undefiled were castrated Salvation through genocide Yet still, We were wrong Deus Vult Illud Martyred mother of pestilence I sundered your flesh Revealing dreads harrowing hymn It lay fallen from the womb Of death Mine was the hand Deus Vult Illud They are so quick to blame the gods for their misery, but they themselves, in their depravity, design grief greater than the grief that fate assigns Fires of twisted bone Ominous breath of divine chaos unchained Winds assailing all life, where power flows in timeless tides I have unleashed Typhaon Cities of formless dust Enwreathing storms of sickness expunging all hope Deus Vult Illud I have become Typhaon The beast of divinity We found a hidden group of their young corrupted by the Ophiotaurus. We burned them all, which they regretted to a startling degree, and which caused them much affliction

They were rendered blind Enveloped by infernal light They were enraptured By he who walks barren lands They marveled at his crown And weighed upon his bounty They were rendered blind An knelt amidst the ruins Listen And know They are Silent The voices born of earth and dust Listen And know They are distant The whispers born in churning seas Ruins Monarch... Truth bled through the glare Pathos returning their sight Behold, a crown of worms And a broken cowards throne They mocked him when he fell And plundered his dripping bounty They were rendered blind And perished amidst the ruins Listen And know They are ancient The voices born of earth and dust Listen And know They are anguished The murmurs born of rust and ruin. Ruin. What veiled form sits on this antler throne? The veil is dust The dust of oblivion, defiling the winds of balance, of incandescent foresight, as light from the meridian sun. Ochre Sun. Two mortal beings stood to oppose his malignant onslaught One stalwart, burning defiance, the other weak, eyes downcast The strong one fell first Ruins Monarch... What veiled form sits on this antler throne? The veil has fallen I see a mighty darkness, filling the seat of power and rays of gloom dart round, as light from the meridian sun. Ochre Sun. Foreshadowing endless towers of mortal wrought darkness He will unleash a plague that will never cease devouring, and lay his gift upon their burning graves. Ruins Ruins Ruins Ruins... Monarch

Come to my door and starve The doorway to his temple is open The path of bone, heaped with ash that was once flesh Awaken he, from reveries of demonry Lie at my feet and parch He reigns from the all beholding throne Between the blood red plains and high places He reigns, with mocking shame he looks away Know that I am become dust... ...Unbound Power unbound Death unbound ...Unbound Dread invocation Divine conflagration Feral flows of sourceless light Bear down on him with lifeless weight Ours was the flesh that burned The gateway to our graveyard is shrouded Before the end of words and eroding worlds Awaken all, to prophecies of history

Traces of time Of unnatural structures Of burdens lifted at last Bestowed in stone Slumbering gods; deaf to grief and so we sank Blind were these gods; to a place where nothing is And so blind; faces veiled in arid earth Were they destroyed; from the thirst for flesh and blood Power falls here With the worst of its plagues Smashed and defiled Oannes, your betrayal is known Oannes, the seven deceived Oannes, they devour themselves Oannes, such was your will Slumbering gods; deaf to grief and so we sank Blind were these gods; to a place where nothing is And so blind; faces veiled in arid earth Were they destroyed; from the thirst for flesh and blood Shameless, until we all shall fall Hollow, until we all shall fall

Empire by empire, race by race The generations pass to dust Then starward drifts the stricken world Lone in unalterable gloom Dead, with a universe for tomb Dark, and to vaster darkness whirled Unseen the ministers of law At altars built to suns afar Reach from eternity to draw The world to a predetermined doom Spendor of eternal strife Smite the suns that quell the gloom New light whose tale of stellar doom Fares to uncomprehending life Till sun and sun be met at last In warfare that annuls the night When sea and mountain start to light Pyres of a..... ....Perished world, till time repents its question of infinity Void and death, resuming the forsaken throne Veils of flame shall blot Procyon from the skies An old chaos sits crowned upon the ashen sun Pathways traced with blood and tears And dust of all our fathers dead Whose backwards footsteps, wandering, red Fade to the mist of nameless years To live, when darkened suns relume Their kingdoms in the abysmal haze Where nearing night attends the blaze Of high Antares red with doom
