Gone are the day hen my mind was roaming free Overwhelmed with this far, Like someone is after me The panic starts to rise But there's nowhere left to hide Trapped with my thoughts, I feel like I'm gonna die Once glowing eyes now devoid of life This fear I can't contain Trapped within these flesh and bones These thoughts that rule my brain Shackled by fear It cuts to the bone This house of horrors Growing anxiety Terror so real, the tension it grows You could cut with a knife Growing anxiety Now fear is my home Crushing anxiety As my pulse is racing faster This chaos that runs my mind Overwhelmed with the feeling That tears me a part inside Frozen with fear The thaw that never comes I'm waiting in the darkness My torture has just begun The howling winds are coming They're just outside my door It's the winter of discontent Where summer never comes Like 1000 knives that twit inside I scream without a sound Anxiety is attacking me And inner peace cannot be found Shackled by fear It cuts to the bone This house of horrors Growing anxiety Terror so real, the tension it grows You could cut with a knife Growing anxiety Now fear is my home Crushing anxiety High anxiety

As the darkness falls, the evil will follow The lines have been drawn, the young men battle Society wakes, there’s been another killing Desensitized to the blood that is spilling I can hear the voices - calling from the grave I can see the sadness - written on their face I can see the news feeds - it’s happening again The weapons used for wartime are turned against the kids There’s a monster loose, he’s a one-man army Twenty-one are dead and they are still counting As the parents descend, they wait for answers Whose child survived this deadly disaster? I can hear the silence Screaming its emptiness And soundlessly pouring out its rage Rage at the sound Rage at the intrusion and violence At my feet lay the crumpled remains Of a life too soon taken What was her name and how did she end up here?
