There is a quiet room A place where secrets go Where distant voices ache Whispers, silently, slow Where the walls are of fear And the carpets runneth over with the tears But God is silent Here, the unknown moves Longing to be free Come near and nearer still To the echoes of a dream Where the chairs are filled with doubt And the doors keep no stranger out But God is silent I can see you in my dreams Every when, all you've seen Cuts right to the core of me But God is silent
