Memories haunt me through these sleepless nights Sing me to sleep All these dreams left unanswered have taken flight Please let me be Take me back home where mornings fill with euphoria No worries to burden us Please take me back to paradise I long to smell the summer air filling my lungs with its sweet breeze The oppression of human suffering will conspire to deceive us all The obsession of human enlightenment will not be our downfall We all drown in a sea of apathy that feeds and lies My heart it cries out: Now we all must rise, break free We are slaves of the endless suffering How can we rise, break free, when we are slaves of this human enlightenment?
