A young boy dreams Of a warm summer's night As he sees the snowflakes falling down He never felt the face of humankind Just the cold deep thoughts Of his own mind He hardens his heart To the fears of the outside After all they blew the cold air in Their acts of degradation Are frozen one by one Suspended in time and all but put aside I am the face of your fears of a thousand years Look at the hate in my eyes I have magnified Out of the ashes I salvage my sanity Scarred from the inside from now Until eternity I reach out to search for the safety of strangers Their ignorance will help me to my throne I've built up these walls in desperate defense They segregate my world opens my soul to the call

There I was reaching out for a hand But the concept was out of my grasp I only wanted to be one with the word I only wanted to see it's fruition Controlling thoughts and raping minds Like painting pictures for the blind Images I see are taking Life from out of me it's killing Every thought I think permeates my mind But I am not going to believe Speak my peace I try to explain my beliefs And I am lauded with hate and disdain Now that I've heard their hypocritical words I realize there's no chance for comprehension Think for yourself in your own way Hear what I say

As I see the day I look in a different way Eyes as black as night never see the light You can't see my mind not like humankind And my viciousness is unequaled And so now you know Never will I look back Some things now will never change Nothing good ever lasts Mankind has now gone insane Doctors theorize that I am mad inside But what do they know what is real Feed me all the lies everyday they try To erase my world But they will not succeed Walk the streets at night and I have to fight Demons deep inside I can never hide All my darkest fears haunting me for years Schizophrenia always holds All of my sanity
