The Wake
I will walk alone, wallowing in the pain of a thousand tortured souls
In this valley I will lie vomiting, condemned with the tenth plane of hell
Where no man shall ever see me bleeding
Bleeding, yet never to death, upon a ragged corpse
My tears shall fall stained with the blood of my remorse
The pain is always seething, breeding atrocities, and I can only wish for death
And when I finally fall your name shall be my last call
I vow never again to give in and succumb to this mortal sin (to rise again)
I vow never again to fall to thy beloved angel''s call though my heart is forever maimed
I shall usurp and abolish this pain
Blessed angel, fall
I shall now abolish pain, a god of flesh in retribution I will finally learn to tame
A power I''ve never known bestowed to me and I shall forever rage gloriously in hell
My walk of solitude shall come to pass my angel, this power I shall strip from you
And in this hour when I am to be laid to rest I''ll rise and walk and shall now be true
To the aborted I give my praise eternally draped in a cloud of hate scarred forever from
once burning flames
And some shall never return the same
We have risen to walk again never to be struck down to our end and when the angels return
to cross, we rage in battle, never succumb to loss
Curse the believer of one fool''s fate, a man born to suffer in his blasphemy
And let him stand alone in the burning rain and slowly writhe away into his insanity
To live the life of a burning soul, never again shall I accept that fate
I''ve only begun to rise up from my blasphemy
And I''ll watch that angel as she begins to bleed,
the cross from which you hung shall be ripped apart
And you will never again be a part of me, and if you think again that I am in your grasp,
I will emerge up from the sorrow, to rise again
I once bathed in pain and I am the one to blame (to rise again)
In my death will I see my release from misery
Though my heart is forever maimed, I shall usurp and abolish this pain
Blessed angel...

Bathed in a vile embrace, this place, I''m growing cold with the corpse
A damnatory for the third journey with me
And I''m growing cold with the corpse
Come with me O gracious one to the land of the freed whore
Come to thee O ancient one I''ve become thy name in lore
Spirit light above me, lead me through this grief, pain and misery
My leader of infirmity, to thee accursed, I look upon and trust thee
One will lay, and we for eternity
The bond of death shall be our conformity in the midst of this growing calamity
I''ll shed my tears for what it once meant to me, all of this I see in dreams
To see the end of a once gracious being, it will be a terrible scene
To see the end of me, I shall die never to see
We kneel and pray to the dying whore and sodomize the body of this worthless corpse
Coveted lord abound with me our suicide shall last through eternity
The last of my salvation comes through now and I watch it as it lies upon the floor
Graced with the last of elation this memory shall bring pain forever more
I see the end of life, but not in dreams we live, and we shall suffer by the rapist''s gentle grace
or could it be the lord of forgotten dreams I beg to be free with my bond in this death, be
gone, At The Wake we rot
