Repent or Perish

I was the one who condemned him to die, I was one of them who blasphemed his name, I was the one who laughed when I saw evil on the Earth, I thought I was strong and that others didn't matter. Isaiah 47:1-4 "Come down and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon; Sit on the ground without a throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans! For you shall no more be called tender and delicate. Take the millstones and grind meal. Remove your feil, take off the skirt, uncover the thigh, pass through the rivers. In the north there is a dark valley Where you can hear the screams of the battling armies. Many injured, many dead but many still stand. They hold the shield of faith in their hand. A sword comes out of their mouths. The dragon, snake deceiver hides in the darkness Because God's son has revealed himself. The dragon thought he won by killing him, But the son's sacrifice was so strong that it destroyed all evil.

Isaiah 49:1-2 "Listen, o coastlands, to me, and take heed you peoples from afar! The Lord has called me from the womb; From the matrix of my mother he has made mention of my name. The time for a great battle is coming. Enough of these lies! My nation cries to arise. Sons of righteousness arise! The world says to live immorally. But we want to live like humans, not animals without understanding! God, help us to arise and be a light in the darkness. Lift up our country and heal our sickness.

A young man and his elder stood on the ocean's shore. The elder was full of power; a prophet of God. The young man desired the same kind of power; just as his elder had. He asked his elder, "Can I be your disciple?" His elder replied, "Are you able to give up everything?" The young man retorted, "Yes I am!" His elder took him to the deep water and plunged the young man's head beneath the raging flow. The young man began to lose his breath. In the last moment his elder pulled him from the water. The young man was angered and screamed, "Are you trying to kill me?" His elder calmly explained, "Just as you need air to live; so do you also need God to survive!"
