Truth be known I have arrived! Freezing, I stand transfixed in wonders gaze Wrapped in thoughts, I warm myself to task The mightiest threshold crossed – the long sought key to time is mine I can transverse the multiverse Adrift in a darkened sea, but for something unknown pulling me Castaway – awash in primal night Struggle to stay abreast of the ubiquitous rising crests And tidal waves of thoughts brought on by newfound strengths Spellbound, I see portals to infinities A multitude of light in universes uncounted Experiences, outside the realm of man To see or better yet to have a hand in all design Dimly, I see a shore lined to infinity with doors that span to Horizon's end and Beyond! Feeling, of excitement swells as the key is again put to test This time from within the hyperspace Eyes upon my back I try again the arcane way Dismay! The numbers crash to the ground. Sounds of sinister laughter permeate psychic ether Undaunted! Again the lock is tried. "Fool, a care to reach beyond your grasp… This path is mine!" In a space between spaces, in a time between all times Ageless. The thing waits for one such as I. Strong in mind, stronger still in form to cross the multi-planes As a vessel to his will – Now to serve a darker design "Together, as we ascend through time This path is mine!"

Crimson and steel My will revealed Oh, restless night, be thy stilled With precious life Heed my call And bring the end to light Invading rays fall where they lie Crimson and steel The scene reveals Behold the gauntlet honed in flesh A party raised Now razed again Fools to rest in hostile land You were betrayed from one within Faster… she ran to night Faithless… deception a whore's delight Deceived by a weaker mind. Desire! Nightmare aware And so you grasp the battle's end As one undone Destined as failure's friend How long is this Pathetic state you've been? How long 'til dawn reveals where you stand. An ancient force unmatched in might Thousands strong, thousands gone The scarlet hue of a crimsoned dawn As rending blades are put to rest A final sweep begins The end of all "Let not a single man stand tall" Defeat remains A victor's choice to purge them all Summoned by those who could – I stir And in the midst of melee's end you race away A northern path to an eastern wood you stray "Fear me, revere me, I am that which time would hide…" "Yet see all, and feel the call, I am summoned to bring the fall!" Stormlords of Ancient… Attack! Release the first volley to air The time to wait has long since passed Fire… raining down below Destruction of the insolent, all who dare oppose Strike down the sleeping where they lay The dawning rays of a new sun wish to obscure a conflict won On this she too has failed At will, the bowmen find their mark Setting the pre-dawn sky ablaze Fly… children of light With no champion of cause, the city falls And falls within the grasp of one that might Control the passage to the west, a port of call and message yet To those the night claims all Ululant cries fill the night One final act, the war beasts freed to make their way Unchained and appetite unending, they set to task. Care to not leave a sole, but devour them all None shall remain, consume them all – consume them all! (One thousand dawns in a foreign land For the might of "one" I stand Dispatch the few and then to east) I ride… Looks sharp! A thousand points aimed into sky Will fall, as first wave to cleanse the night Stand Fast, and hold the ranks until my call For the broken truce. Deep burrows in a frozen ground Whereby the crafted war-machines are found Nearer still, the stench of molten fuel For the second wave of fire The few to whom make claim The burden of mortal man you now face Yield to he that wants all That may ever be And as night gives way to dawn The scene paint itself on Blank minds, on a frozen plain With odds beyond compare I have watched night to day As fields form, green to red transform Before these battle-weary eyes In lands so far from home ("Through the thin veil of mist, my gauntlet is held high") Now! Cosmic sea surrounds me – the solar winds fill my sails The numbing calm of eternity upset Off the map of mortal man, off the scale of mundane existence A passage through a further time is sought Back to the origin through the seething stew of life where life itself was known I'm not alone Alone caught up in the wonder of universal discovery The thrill of knowledge yet to learn "Arrogant creature of flesh what makes you think you were the first Erudition has its price" Chattering from shadows in the night distant flapping coming near I am pursued How can you fight what you can't see?
