On the brink of collapse This is the tragedy of existence Under a falling sky We are at last overcome The tempest of despair Consuming every waking moment Dark clouds black out the sun Resisting the coming dawn I’m following insanity Overwhelmed With the essence of decay One ending after the next This destruction was our only option I was left to ponder The consciousness of misery For we cannot know what’s ahеad; We are the sеntient dead And the tears that we cried Were not enough You were the reason I was sick inside And now we are no more I cannot unsee A figure in the darkness Lingers like the breath of death With no reprieve Encompassing as these hands close Upon my wretched soul In the cold it will expire Spiral deeper down than ever Deeper than ever My mind; my prison Waiting for me In the end all is forsaken Under the fire we die Ashes fall Without a sound Or second thought Under the fire We are no more As ashes fall Invisible to everyone Even in death We are nothing Even in death Nowhere to turn Our ashes fall

On wings of death beholden Searching for absolution Lost memories of the final Omen beckon What was once unspoken Has finally been unveiled A cosmic page unfurling In the ether The abstract venom Reaching for the true answer The longest night is calling Resigned to our own ruin Fallen from this pedestal With a forsaken heart We can't turn back; we know that We have failed After all we've suffered; Children for the slaughter Self-righteous eyes are watching With their lust for blood As the vultures flock Where my body rots In the earth I can't go to where you're calling The earth is warm where I lie Too many times I've fallen Unto that sleepless plight That waking night that pulled me Towards the beginning And the ending that echoes forever In my mind Where I lie there's no more warmth Voices calling out from beyond Calling my name My salvation lies Forever severed nigh In the ether Where I lie the falling rain Will soothe all that remains All at once I'm entombed in this Cataclysm of despair Forgetting and leaving All that was dear to me The abstract venom Reaching for an end You will yearn for The darkness drawing near
