Heathen Beast
EP • 2010
The story starts far back in time When blind faith did perceive The birth of Ram The twisted truth from scriptures told A lie upon a lie that built The cornerstone The lies! The lies they feed us. A king did build this city From bricks and stones A kingdom that was born For a war not fought, unconquerable he rose. Ignorance, Hate & Violence The contempt we breed These are the roads To which blind faith leads Why do we never question The words a preacher speaks Why do we never question What we believe But as the legend goes The king he was dethroned The eyes now uncovered And the blind did see once more Ignorance, Hate & Violence The contempt we breed These are the roads To which blind faith leads Upon the pedestal he stands A voice so loud and deep Hear his words and believe the lie You weak pathetic being Repent not for your sins A slave to religion you are Blinded by the many lies You, yourself has been lost They divide and they rule You’re just a pawn in the game And when the castle comes crumbling down Only they remain.

Blood was spilled Invoked religious ire Armed, they took the streets On a killing spree The holy shrine - An empty space within four walls The holy shrine - A man made god that rules us all No God would ever warrant No God would justify The most heinous crime Religious Genocide No God would ever warrant No religion did indite The Slaying of the innocent Religious Genocide The one who wields the power His lust, his greed that grows Exploiting blind faith To watch his empire grow His minions lead the slaughter The blinded fools don’t know While they all die in battle The leader’s safe at home. Suffocate their beliefs Ours is the one true god Words that ring through ‘Hunt them down and kill, kill, kill them all’ The holy land was proclaimed They conquered it by force Tearing down the structure A blasphemous religious horde And so the disease spread Religions went to war Ignorant, pathetic mortals Killing for their god. No God would ever warrant No God would justify The most heinous crime Religious Genocide No God would ever warrant No religion did indite The Slaying of the innocent Religious Genocide The scars that never heal These scars will never heal. Death breeds, hate Death breeds, contempt Death breeds, malice Death breeds, Revenge I seek, I will avenge Don’t believe the empty space Don’t believe the lies they’ve spoke Don’t believe the preachers words Don’t forsake yourself to a counterfeit god

They came, they conquered A myth beneath the sand A holy structure built Over beliefs it stands One day they razed, set ablaze The walls did not withstand A broken faith above A myth beneath the sand A nation was plagued A riot ravaged the land While the pyres burned No resolution at hand Loss of life and livelihood Damage to public property Not one who is accountable For the suffering and misery Ayodhya Burns Divided by faith, Torn by violence Nothing holy, nothing sacred Ayodhya Desecrated Holy wars once waged Return to haunt the grave Empty promises, betrayed Religious honour at stake The cries, the screams Of women and children slain No mercy. No compassion Redemption for the years of pain. Ayodhya Burns Divided by faith, Torn by violence Nothing holy, nothing sacred Ayodhya Desecrated And it burns. And it has been settled Or so that is what they say Still dividing by religion And to which god we pray At the end of it all There is no god And that is the only true belief. Forsake the plastic demon And see what the book really means. No religion ever did preach The roads they all lead to the same We must be divided no more and Put religion into the grave.
