Voyager

Isolated, trapped inside the capsule I fear that i may now be on my own My crew have perished, and i am alone Orbiting beyond the atmosphere My communications are down and the power is cut I gaze back to the Earth Wondering, will i be remembered? All that i've seen will fade All that i am will be buried Deep beneath the sands of time All that i have worked toward Is destined to die inside my mind Will they remember the voyager Or will they forget? Moments left and nothing to show I was brought into this world cold and alone It only makes sense that i should also die cold and alone But i will not die within these confines Reaching forth i release the hatch I float away into nothingness Gazing upon the blue planet From a distance i can see its beauty As ice obscures my view I've reached the end of a journey The end of the voyage Orbiting beyond the atmosphere My life support has been depleted And i soon will die all alone I gaze back to the Earth Wondering, will i be remembered? Will i be remembered? Will i be forgotten?
