All roads will lead here, all books have an end No matter our efforts, the time that we spend Telling our stories and trying to reason At last when we enter the strangest of seasons Words mean very little and you can be sure That this is a place where you have been before We've circled the hollow hills here at night We've seen the same sick visions here in the moonlight Shadowed talking will only get you so far Sing louder! Louder! You are who you are When the music dies down and the night comes alive You will be there alone You garrulous people, you poor restless souls Fear's had the worst of you, digging your holes Telling our stories and trying to reason At last when we enter the strangest of seasons Like rabbits you're hiding, running away From something about to happen today We've circled the hollow hills here at night We've seen the same sick visions here in the moonlight Shadowed talking will only get you so far Sing louder! Louder! You are who you are When the music dies down and the night comes alive You will be there alone And then of course, the great silence came is civilzation now quiet from shame? No negotiation, no talking of blame? This is indeed the strangest of seasons... Shadowed talking will only get you so far Sing louder! Louder! You are who you are When the music dies down and the night comes alive You will be there alone

This land was passed on from my father to me It was barren, didn't gorw easily We put of all of these stones into pile And how our backs hurt when we passed down the aisles And sat down to be counted again To be asked just how and when We will give you the gold we don't have for favors never given You're only trouble as far as I know You start a war wherever you go You've never been here and still you say This land is yours from this very day So send your mercenaries To the highlands, through dense forests, down winding paths So send your mercenaries We will greet them with stick and stones, with knife and sword drawn And you left us without a choice Be it a hired hand soldier or a bailiff All we have to get through the winter Is in the barn and in the ryehouse You're only trouble as far as I know I killed the man with one swift blow We will do what it takes to keep the plunderers off the highlands So send your mercenaries To the highlands, through dense forests, down winding paths So send your mercenaries We will greet them with stick and stones, with knife and sword drawn Civilization's still the name that it goes by When a fat man draws his lines on a map Civilization is the name that it goes by For King and country, give a mighty salute now So send your mercenaries To the highlands, through dense forests, down winding paths So send your mercenaries We will greet them with stick and stones, with knife and sword drawn

A torn away bliss, a sudden loss Stood throughout the ages, respectful and reverent Despite of light overshadowed, disdainful and proud A declaration of a loss, a mark of inheritance As proud as once was in the beginning still is For thousands of years and trials, erect, defiant In memory of his dead son, concealed and colored A torn away bliss and its sudden loss We serve to praise, we serve to praise From father to son on stone (Från fader till son...) From Darinn to son (Från Darinn till son...) Relic of decay, its striking wings and story The wounds from gold will never heal The fragments of loss will never forgret nor will forgive A carved stone monument, strengthen and teach us A remnant of the past in vengeance and honor A declaration of a loss, a mark of inheritance As proud as once was in the beginning still is From father to son on stone (Från fader till son...) From Darinn to son (Från Darinn till son...)

The mountain crown, the mountain spirit farthest North She is bound in the guise of a Horned Owl Wife of the One eyed Åme The queen of mist in the shadows dance Rises high above the fertile plain Of past of present, of memory and of man She's lurking the corner of dawn Ancient, ever being, never ceasing Of seven oak forests grown, of seven rotted down Still proud she stand Shape and torn, as dew was gone A monument, a bewitching hand Bound sacrifice, great eternal youth In stillness withdrawn, dreamless for evermore Arose as she's drawn A gateway to where our worlds meet and manifest A portal to where our worlds collide Omma... Omma... Omma... Omma... Omma... Omma... Omma... Omma... Across the meadows, a veil of mist As above the dangerous waters She's wandering, cold and clear Reaches out and embrace in despair and disgrace As the tears of Wetur come Crushing tear, ruin down The steep, red wall, the lair of the mountain King Shiver, beware... And so they went the mountain seven times around Thus destiny be told, their fate be carued Omma... Omma... Omma... Omma... Omma... Omma... Omma... Omma... A gateway to where our worlds meet and manifest A portal to where our worlds collide

I lay my blade low as a yearning sign Oh, for my beloved North with its stalwart pines Beheld in the east the golden shores approaches The vast plains where the rivers doth shine From harshest of journeys of months at sea I now lay my sword down, my longing heart ashore Greet me home, greet my return For thee, my love, my heart shall forever burn The path of life, its turns and it twists For victors and lost in glory the end abide The threads of fate of destined bestow My path to follow as the Norns them wove I outlived the night, yet to my dwelling return To sacred ground worthy my flesh and bone A predicted doom, a downward spiral Twined with the flow of time, yet I return... To where I belong... To where I set my feet... To where I heal my wounds... To where I make my home is where I build my Throne Greet me home, greet my return For thee, my love, my heart shall forever burn Upon my throne, gaunt and tired I sweat the blood of the sword By the edge of the water, weary and worn My horse of the sea

It's a long and tiring journey for a brave young man to go And his eyes will seek distractions, searching high and low And passing through the forest, many young men got to know A strange young girl with nothing on, nowhere to go This should have raised a question, I think it sould have raised two But she promised she would let them do the things they'd like to do And somewhere deep inside, they knew where they were going When she took her hand and led them to those strange and secret places And as those young men sow their seed in that secluded sunlit glade And that is when their eyes turn black, they die inside, they die inside Southward down the path, she held his hand Walking backwards, looking straight into his eyes Southward to that place drenched in that strange, sunny haze Over hills and over meadows, through woods strange and forgotten And somewhere deep inside, they knew where they were going When she took her hand and led them to those strange and secret places And as those young men sow their seed in that secluded sunlit glade And that is when their eyes turn black, they die inside

The swaying fields, the mighty seas The shining truths, the darkest past To let the beast be bound and still Know he will break free and kill The one eyed god of gods... Then when this world is about to end Rejoice in all the tales you heared Rejoice the images seen of how, of how The gods lowed this world Trumpets roaring from a dead lung Of death aware! Cannot hold the blood and poison Trumpets roaring from a dead lung And what lies ahead dies beyond The boiling earth, the decayed roots Oppressive skies, the end dawns anew Cold and cruel, coursed the silver moon Wroth and grim, slain the golden sun Serpent rises in stillness sleeps the sea The wolf appease his hunger, slazing sun hangs low Serpent rises, twilight touches the wandering soil... The ravens settle down and the wind dies away... Trumpets roaring from a dead lung Of death aware! Cannot hold the blood and poison Trumpets roaring from a dead lung And what lies ahead dies beyond This dying world I understand They hold its fate here in their hands And so much did they love this land to spare the wolf And thus no rivers will would run red Until the prophecies would be fulfilled Until the one eyed god is killed, but still wolf is fettered Serpent rises in stillness sleeps the sea The wolf appease his hunger, slazing sun hangs low Serpent rises, twilight touches the wandering soil... The ravens settle down and the wind dies away...
Twilight burn across the sky Time has come the doom is near Stillness rules this cloudless night Armageddon is here Woe to you Earth and sea Total destruction 12 days of total eclipse Yet the stillness rules this night of mist But slowly clouds of death are forming The time has come to reap Burning skies Battle cries Total destruction The end of mankind universe So many battles yet to fight Take heed forever learn When the bells chime the return... Screams of fear The doom is here Total destruction
