What is this place? What have I done? Something must have gone terribly wrong Where it went wrong, I may never learn But somewhere, I've taken a very wrong turn The faces, the places, they're All too familiar, but not quite the same It's like a dream, and really absurd Looks like I'm trapped in a parallel world Finding my way back to the gates of the real world Time and space, will they ever align? Welcome to the dream world... I'm certain there must be one gateway, or more But I've climbed every stair, and tried every door Wracking my brain for something that makes sense Trying to track back the chain of events The timelines that once were so nicely aligned Have somehow, strangely, become intertwined A time-window one day may open for me And let me step back to my world, and be free A door that leads me to a stair That leads me to a room That leads me to a twilight zone A cork that leads me to a time That leads me to a cause Ttat leads me back to the beginning Strange how things will always change Will never be the same In this great parody of reality Losing my way back to the gates of the real world Time and space, never they would align Trapped inside the dream world

My dearest friend, where have you been? You're lost and nowhere to be found We all came down, knocked on your door But there was no light, no sound, no trace What could have taken you that night?
