Sorrow is night's companion Moonlight casts the unknown A starlit course of solemn remorse For the journeys we face alone From all that I was Slowly drifting apart Replaced by a fire Like the heat That quickens my heart By clandestine whispers Passing through leaves Reveal private passage Within the rings of the trees I shed this mortal coil Toward feral rebirth The cloak of night now glowing In the cloud of unknowing What fills it deep within The clutch of sorrow Clasping us again To dream without fear The night called me here To boldly survive In yearning, alive Beyond the mountains horizon Where moonlight touches the stone By candle flame, these secrets remain Over lands where starlight has shone To run wild at night And breathe deep the air Revel in wondrous nature Beyond all compare Can you hear the starsong? I found myself upon the Banks of rivers green The air so sweet and calm Impossibly serene Birdsong held my heart Across the misty shoal Aloft in skirling art Symbols yet unknown They sang of loss and longing I felt it all too well Led into the sleeping grove Unto my knees I fell The dreaming trees a wonder A vibrant forest hold Warmed by scintillating rays Luminous and gold A lucent span unites The earth and sky Nameless color blossoms Before my very eyes Verdant path to radiance Across the wooded streams I beheld the living rеalm Impossible machines The sky bеcame as windows The trees, a living manse Among the stellar spires Twin moons began their dance I felt the pull A tug upon my sleeve I felt the aching in my chest I couldn't bear to leave Verdant paths to radiance Across the wooded streams I beheld the living realm Impossible machines Fleeting glimpse of beauty The world behind the seams Oh, to fade away Like all my dreams

Fables of old whispers the lore A legend borne of antiquity A reached the field in the deep of the night And witnessed a star-limned opacity A shimmering tower of glass Appeared at the prophesied time Reaching the sky to pierce heaven's heart Dimensions stagger the mind Adorned in starshine This voidborn design The doorway protected by the misty membranе Air that resisted, then yiеlds Into a chamber of crystalline forms And spiraling stairways revealed Coursing upward into infinity Step by step I ascended My heart sang with awe and fear Every chamber revealed splendors The voice of the stars led me here I watched the moon fall Through misty clouds from above I watched the world fall away And bid farewell to all I had loved Inside the sidereal spire Ascending towards infinite stars Time lost all meaning Every new vista revealing New worlds so much vaster than ours Oh, the sights I have seen The firmament's dream Through celestial spheres The starsong only I can hear The voice of the stars led me here Air growing thin, my fire burns low Yet so much further to go There's no return To the life that I knew I lay down my head In the sky and think of you Nebular warmth surrounds me I died looking down In the highest reaches Where you will find my bones Drifting forever in void Dreaming forever of home

Through sacrifice earned Despite all defeat By staggering labor The great work complete The clepsydra pulse alive Mercury flowing as tears In synchronous craft Mystical armillary sphere In my secret chamber Alchemical process begins Quicksilver flash, deep from within Nerves alive with electric thrill As time inside the room stood still I rushed to the door What awaits on the other side? A landscape berеft Completely devoid of lifе Oh, to slow the spin Restrain the flow of time Adjust the dials Every moment intertwined I've lost the route to home Into the future alone Each subsequent trial Sent me forward, anchored in place I saw the rise and fall of civilizations I shared in their joy, and their grief I watched the stars spell new names And finally...
