Gazing down into the abyss Becoming one with its blackness Overwhelming my conscience Squeezing life's essence from my soul My gaze never ending Demon eyes track the road The fallen rotting leaves Trampled down with my coming Lunar force bearing down Black hooves on the trail Vermin cower in fear Seeking shelter from my forge With haste we ride Guided by destiny's cry The calling, quiet and distant Hearing the echo of the horn The forest folds its branches The wilderness encompasses The path burned into my eyes No choice but to follow The storm churning, biting my flesh As I cleave the way Through thick spiteful foliage Rays of the moon lighting my way I am sure of my task, I will rise once again I leave this forest in sweat and tatters My memories now at rest I am alone, I am free, veiled in darkness My death riding the hot sphere of dawn Slowly extending his golden, blood soaked fingers Across the open plain I follow the calling Drawing me into everlasting pain Looking up out the mouth of the chasm Vainly attempting to escape the blackness My decimated conscience no ally Life's essence ripped from my soul

The maelstrom of light Floods and blinds the eye Spiralling upwards in an eruption of malice Thunderheads crash in violent torment Shrouding the sky with icy hell Burning the skin with frozen wind Fingers grip cold wet stone The final ascension draws near Eyes fixed upon the sky Feet planted in earth Reaching the summit, I stand with pride Defiant in the face of his power This blackened rock is where it begins War declared on the earth Mightiest am I As the wintry storm descends I laugh in utter scorn I take my seat on the mountainous throne I gaze down on the void Lost wisdom now mine to behold I've become one with the dark Wrath from which there is no escape Fingers grip cold wet stone The final ascension draws near Eyes fixed upon the sky Feet planted in earth Reaching the summit, I stand with pride Defiant in the face of his power This blackened rock is where it begins War declared on the earth

Pacing destruction shaft by shaft His chariots' careening Drawn with a brace of bloody mares Ancient violence longs to breed The demon comes to take her toll Consigned their lots to the urn of blood They pitched on death for men The storms of ruin live To burn the cancer at the root Screaming angels descend Processional for the hellfire chariot Covered in bronze is this god Vultures encircle the field The trumpet sounds Heralding with ominous tones Men poised on either side Pawns thrown into the massacre None shall survive His chariot surges forth Leaving chaos in its wake The tangled bodies of young men Strewn about in mounds The fields saturated in chaos And panic drowns the mind The ground reddens with crimson streams Of a thousand murdered Carnage inexorably ensues The war god revels in his artistry Laughing as spears lance forth Piercing through armor and flesh They all bleed They all die

Exploring the deep, pungent earth Our minds create images, eyes can't see Forced on this road not by destiny His flames plunge up from below And we must fly! Running along the unseen catacombs The foulest of fears approaching Deep inside the mountain We mustered the beast The foul demon incarnate A colossus of terror pursues We cannot get out We can only run As exhaustion takes its toll And the end time for loved ones begins! Sweat boils as we flee this nightmare Heralding our doom Its fiery wings thundering His presence lying in shadow The unsettling darkness gives way To a glimmer of light Before it makes the final lunge Entwining us in its fiery ropes Hurling us into the pit Hopes leaves our hearts Some grasp at the walls Slightly prolonging their doom All lights that once shone brightly Dim as we tumble long Into the dark places of the earth Falling, forever! We cannot get out We can only run As exhaustion takes its toll And the end time for loved ones begins! The shade of malice Draws ever closer I bask in its essence Forced upon this path towards oblivion I channel the strength of my will As the black shadow engulfs me Permeating my flesh Now, bound my blindness I suffer alone in the dark And as hatred Fills my mind Lost hope returns through vengeance Execrations of a mind gone insane Sullen, I loom forth into the dark

Saw a star through the haze of my dreams Emblazoned in the night sky A light on the outer rim of dark A fire burning at the end of the world A vision of death, fire and violence Foreshadowing the coming struggle of war Blood spoiling the seas The fog of war scorching the sky And its fiery core opened to me Sharing a vision of destiny I will travel the vast distances To where hope and daylight have died In the fragile minds of men Beyond death and its mournful song Down to the depths of the earth And in the throes of despair As blood soaks my trail I will ascend from ash and arise My eyes open roused by terror The bleak premonition rattling my mind Anxieties strangling my rationale Chaos burdens, and hastens my decision Lucid awareness guides my destiny

Misery! Hate! To you I entrust my treasure Walking along old paths Marching forward The burden growing As I purge my mind of hope My soul descends before me Misfortune is my god As the plagues smother in blood The beast glares as I descend As I make my choices And swallow it down Venom twists my limbs Suffocates and deforms me I cannot scream, feeling myself burn Eternal punishment, this is Hell! The clock of life has stopped No longer with this world Fading now into the depths Ecstasy, Nightmare and sleep In a nest of flame I will unveil the mystery Future, past and nothingness I am the master
