Noctem Aeternus

Nostalgia with me every night Plunging into the mysterious magic Whispering winter spells That caresses me with memories of a former life Embracing me with the cold wind That slides before me

Twilight once fell on the flipside of this ancient stone Built from the searing ash of a current unbound And longing grasses once rose grasping at a fading moon Falling in the temptation of your godhead’s light These winds once built temples, for the sun In flurries of frost over a realm in nothingness A glaring shadow that shone to the heavens above ever so quietly In the shadow of a willow, a raven foretold of darkness’ first utterance In the bows of an unmoving ship On the flat palette like hand of no one So guide me Ahab I will follow you in the promise of wonders So follow me I will destroy everything you built And everything you have ever loved For I am time, and this hand is mine to scar

Cold winter night that captivates me Let me know your deepest secret, Reveal yourself to my deep gaze Full moon, illuminate the path To the darkest landscapes Captivated today, my silence has grown Sadly intense The shadows surround me The twilight falls The night is bleeding

Wind howls in my mind Tears this dark nocturnal mantle The darkest secrets are revealed before me In this cold winter night A deep look lies enthroned Deep in the forest opens the doors to the unknown An ancient prophecy has been reflected In the deep of the night Spirits resurface between cursed shadows Before the moon The mysteries of darkness keep silent the darkest night Between the deep fog of the forest The moon illuminates a withered landscape In silence and pain

This track is instrumental.
This frayed mirror Possesses a brilliant light A light that takes the fight Out of long fortold trees May their decrepit branches Waver to this galante luster And may you and I Fade under this autumn glare This silhouette sparkles In the shade of a brilliant light A light that utters The waning words of dreams May these shadows collapse silently in your muted world And may you and I Fade under this autumn glare And archaic mountains Collapse to the crying voice of time May you and I Transcend under the glare of autumn light This glare dances with us Passionately Under a firm grip It leads us to finality And you and I still dance in the eves Where we were once beckoned Only by chance in autumn’s surrendering glare
Whom walks in the shadow shall spake it all For whom discovers the wreckage, Of their ship is to reap of all He who once told of a beautiful blue night bedazzling and bright Now must bear the requiem of his fallen stars Drowning in the silence Of your meaningless confession And to the mute utterance of their screams The sky turned to the detritus fumes of a prophet in angst All stars glimmered In the spastic rule of your king You are no one, you never were and never will be

The waning moon falls The road opens its dark mouth As I go into the shadows Like a reverie fading away Into the thick mist Darkening moonless Long walk amongst trees The breeze freezes my soul The waning moon has fallen A million of stars cry In this night That whispers The waning moon has fallen

There is a place upon this flat pallette like world Where the empty white of moors meets a spire like hill Sitting upon the scalp of this balding plane like an icy crown It watches the death of those who cease to die Under the dead luster of a million stars And in the shroud of forgotten howls I will fall knowing that the other side I will never reach But I begin to fade To join the calm and warmth of vacuity In the reassurance and comfort of fading With a million dead and empty stars
