Sunless
Salvation dies by the weight of oceans Deliverance lies under desolation The sun disappears to a place I call haven To a wake of darkened redemption Frailty dissolves my need of regret An inception of denial and severance The weight of oceans upon me Never leave me be Elegies written on my skin I am nameless I am faceless I am weightless I glow demise

Memories sent to the sun Ashes washed into sea Redeeming light gives way And the pain will rise Within the fire we'll see the fall of tomorrow And the sky it holds The thoughts unfold The sun recalls a passage of ghosts Rising above the judgment made All we are is dust Scattered to the ocean The waves form from the dust A distant monument Held in the broken arms of the sunless

Dead monuments lie within us Shadows cast reminiscence upon autumn's shoulder The earth soaks retribution Halos glow vertical light Graceful and sightless In deafening silence one's hope died The image altered for winter's blindness Unto the earth scorn I revel in ashes of the sun Upon its wings I sight my burden The view is yet undone And winter came like a portrait in white To honor the earth Our eternal grave

A grim walk through the barren road Only dread illuminates the shadows of the light The earth laments while the fear follows I bury this lonely word in the arms of perdition Beneath the deadest sky Before the birth of the new sun The silence now reigns An apparition A dim silhouette of spectral procession Passing by with a trail of plague
