Last day of October as you walk the path While morbid thoughts fill your head That sinister lady you met in the woods Has frightened you way beyond scared Her tales of terror directed at you Spoke of your downfall and fate Half-hearted you laughed at Predictions to come Now all evil shall have its day... The winter is cold and bitter as hell As the haunting moon guides the way An owl on the tree sits shockingly quiet As dark devours the day The silence increases striking your nerves Impatient to safely reach home Awaiting the moment of fable or truth Not knowing if "it" will come The fire awaits you it's watching all the time There's nothing you can do But witness your world fall...
