In a dark world the sun never shines A king grows weary of a life alone Horses ride from the fire that flows A bride is stolen, never to return home Winter comes and the earth it withers The sky grows dark and the wind starts to call Life to death, cold chills to the bone When the snow flies the last rose of summer falls Daughter of Olympus Taken from her home Down to the depths of the underworld Shadow kingdom, a home she doesn’t know The only life here is this garden of tears There go the loves that wither The old loves with weary wings Dead dreams of days long forsaken From hope and fear set free This lonely tired river Winds somewhere safe to sea No star or sun shall waken They sleep in eternal night Only when she’s free again All dead years return to light

The dawn breaks in Gilead Three lives forever changed Their lessons at an end Their youth washes away with the rain In the light of a new day Is there time to reflect on the past? Will times gift of life See it end too quickly My story flows out on the river Whye Of A love not meant to be A sacrifice for my quest Her ghost haunts me endlessly Vile hunters on this road Their journey in time ends today With iron and glass we seal their fate And in the past their ashes lay Witch of darkness holding glass An orb to see into the void Slowly draining her of life Her treachery is soon exposed Love is real if only for a moment Time is wasted on the young And in the end as before Do we learn of a life eternal?
