By morning light we begin our raid They´ll taste our steel - the challenge awaits The hordes are roaring - taking up arms Standing proud we´re born for war! Fighting together - to battle we march For war we´re yearning - bloodlust in our eyes Axes and broadswords gleam in the sun No one can stop us until the battle´s won! Swords grind and axes clash - the sound of battle Stench of death fills the air Marching with our swords held up high Only in battle we die Fighting with furious rage Eternal combat´s our fate! Blood is flowing - covering our blades Our devilish laughter mixes with their cries of pain Forced to their knees by our might and our power Another glorious victory - the field is ours! I follow the trace – the prey will be mine Through forests and plains I won´t get it out of my sight I´m one with the woods in masquerade of mother earth Endurance of a wolf and blessed with the eyes of a hawk I´m a hunter sneaking through the undergrowth Seeking – Finding – Killing! Like a spider waiting for my chance to strike Instinct of a beast I run – I follow the trace of the prey I kill – Goddess of hunt lead my way I hunt – preparing for my final stroke I hide – let the leaves of the trees be my coat Aim my arrow at the target in my side Be my victim tonight Flying arrow´s bringing death to the wild hart I will hunt you down! Enchanted by her grace I don´t mind the hunt my prey has escaped Her beauty has tamed my instinct to kill Our looks meet as she turnes her head - she´s gazing at me Her glances root me to the ground A rose without thorns – her eyes like the stars I can´t resist her charms Temptation draws me near to her Stars light the sky and our souls will unite Flames of passion When the night falls desire breaks free Flames of passion As dawn breaks through the trees she slips away and leaves me alone She whispers to me: "We will meet again! After a long chase I dare to slow down Exhausted I´m gasping for breath I´m hiding in brushwood and prick up my ears Will I be safe now? The slaughter´s on! I attack like a thief in the night The first ones are killed by surprise Out of the shadows their nightmare will rise Oh powers of darkness! I stand alone in this fight Powers of darkness run through me Their worthless lives I will take Vengeance is rising I will kill for the sake of my soul They fall in a storm of revenge There is no escape from the power of my blade When the slaughter´s on!
