With the will to be free in this land of the living You can learn from the lessons that I write down and place at your feet Is it hard to believe we're not hidden by numbers and with the advice that is preached a promise to keep unto me And if you open your eyes you can bring out the truth in the lies Feel the air that you breathe and find out the path that’s meant to be Don't throw it away wasting in time keep searching for the light You're paving a way in through these eyes like a candle in the night Be a shooting star until you reach the moon And when the light is gone the truth will guide you home To live is to be with a need to feel wanted To strive for acceptance with pride to feel you can stand on your feet To make a mistake and learn to feel broken And with the acceptance inside you'll give out much more then you'll take Don't throw it away wasting in time keep searching for the light Paving a way in through these eyes like a candle in the night The time has come to make your peace For what’s begun will bring release inside

As the burning red fills the sky The blood is spilled of divine All the angels falling from grace never believed they would die As the sinner’s darkness befalls A glimpse of hope fuels the fire And now there’s a war in heaven tonight Gaze upon forbidden fruit two paths to take so now which one The great mistake we all must make decide divide Our destiny it lies within us all but these voices reside I get the feeling that my world is over another place another time I’ve fallen down at the first hurdle redemption only time will tell I reached the heavens but they turned me back sent me to the gates of hell To spend forever with the wretched souls of the underworld A coin for the ferryman watch as the dead men await longing to be saved The age of lies where everything you see’s not even real or right A circus with no end in sight façade disguise A simple truth taken before you have the chance to cast your eye Forbidden fruit captivating my mind Serpentine whispers create the divide

A silent night so unexpected unassuming Upon the hill their sleep was then disturbed There was a raid that killed most of their men and still they cried but nobody heard It’s time to face the truth there is no end in sight I cannot let them take my life tonight What is a man who does not face his death with honour over the edge we ride Six suns have set and risen no prayer I have not given This deafening silence is all I have but still I listen My heart beats on in yearning when is my love returning I fear the worst has happened scared to find I’m right confirming I lay awake with pictures running through my head What is my purpose thinking I’m better dead Love brings me closer and closer to the edge where I will find you When will I see your face again can’t you see I’ve cried ten rivers but it doesn’t bring you home And all the sadness and the sorrow left inside of me forever lives inside these tears of stone Sometimes I lay and wonder why my life’s torn asunder Did I deserve this punishment this storm of rain and thunder What will the afterlife be I pray you’re waiting for me I look up to the sky and swear I heard your voice just calling These tears have turned to stone
