I took a trip on the line to find the meaning of life And bringing it back in a box But it was only a maze and it was filled with the haze Of all the wandering lost And when I looked for tomorrow There were no days to borrow It’s the end of the line Such a sadness I learned I watched my soul as it burned And then it blinded my eyes See tomorrows darkness Watch the lights go out Stricken with this terror I began to scream and shout End of the line They keep on chipping away you know they’re chipping away End of the line They keep on ripping away you know they’re stripping my days End of the line They keep on bringing me down you know they’re taking me out End of the line There was no heaven or hell yet I was locked in a cell With all the children of pain And with the sounds of them dying The screaming and crying And the breaking of chains It was a kick in the face that sent me slamming trough space And left me floating in time There was no present or past nothing was holding me back And then I saw myself die On this plane I travel Light surrounds me Gives a home to my lost soul I am free to wander Yet no form I feel Time and space I’m free to roam So i wander trough time I hide alone in my mind With all my thoughts and dreams A perfect place in the sun forever more I shall run Forever more I shall be And though it’s somewhere within it is a place to begin It is the place I will hide There is a place I must seek a plane of light which I heed For it’s a good place to be

Casting no shadows we’re running through the night Unearthly soldiers still in the fight Spreading our wings we rise up far above the earth We’re chasing the light of god through the universe On and on and on and on we’re traveling On and on and on and on for light we seek On and on and on and on forever more On and on and on the lightless sky Searching for solace we’re seeking heavens gate A quest for a grain of light in these darkened days Forging forever a world of wandering souls We’re chasing the light now and forever more On and on it seems so long We’re flying in a dream It’s like the feeling you have When it seems that you have been there before On and on it seems so long No sound within your scream It’s like dreaming you need to run But you just can’t seem You just can’t seem to flee So it’s on and on and on and on we go Onward and upward relentless in our quest We’re looking for light of god himself to manifest Caught in this moment for all eternity For moments are all we glimpse of reality

I found a bottle floating in deep nowhere And with it came a surprise It held a message but there wasn’t no writing It had no meaning yet it still sent chills through my spine It’s summer in space It’s gonna be hot today It’s summer in space I asked the captain for some solar sun lotion But he just looked and he smiled He told me son you’ve got to toughen up your muscle He flexed his bicep then his skin melted before my eyes It’s summer in space It’s gonna be hot today It’s summer in space We’re having a heat wave I called the doctor off the course that he was playing The burn had left his flesh dry He held a scalpel in his hands that were still shaking He drew it up and then he plunged it right between my eyes

Time was standing deadly still Darkness hiding that which was real Far above them in the sky Bombs were floating there in time The earth was rushing up so fast It seemed to greet the imminent blast It seemed to know what was to be I think it knows its destiny Bombs away It all will be okay Bombs away It had to be this way All the soldiers in their holes Breaths of smoke to sooth their bones Nerves are frayed and tensions run high A few good men begin to cry Becoming clear what has been done A few good men begin to run Racing time they cannot win Their death is sure and always has been Then the bombs begin to burst Time had taken its turn for worst Flesh was flying everywhere Screams were thick in blood soaked air And not a living machine endured Such a moment to observe But what has been always shall be And what shall be has always been
