Of Spectres and Strife
Us swine are marching now, from the holding pens

Like flickers we appear, and just so we pass by
With blinded eyes we cannot see the harvest drawing nigh

But we’ve known it once, and I do still
They’ll come again to bring home the kill
With knives and lies spin death from life
And these horrid yarns of spectres and strife

Blood flows and forms a river
Between the sties
They just stand there and watch
Lonely their hope dies

Crammed together but in death alone
Lend my ears now to the harvest sound
One day all life must pay deaths conclusive loan
All my kind has from birth to it been bound

Sound now grows until it’s deafening
Still, we march on to deliverance
Stoutly I await my extinguishing
If on this day I die, it’ll make no difference

Step by step into the abattoir’s gorge
Advancing call of the lower world’s horde
They’re rasping, screeching for my mortal soul
As one by one the butcher takes his toll

His knife digs down into another one’s throat
Then leaves him there to squeal and choke
The lower world demands more

For a moments time I lose consciousness
A strike pulls me back from my somnolence
Back to this processed terror, back to this godless place
My thoughts circling as the butcher kicks in my face
Snot, pus, faeces and lymph, a whiff so maddening
My life starts to flash out before my eyes

No use to find in all this battling
Lengthen the bleed, the stomps, the cries, the pain

Think back to that wretched day that had me spawned
The crown sin with which I had this world so badly wronged
Fifty thousand more of me to pledge their meat
Eat where they shit and die right where they eat

Through rape they planted
All my disgraceful seeds
Conceived, then trampled
No mind, no thoughts, no needs

In piss she farrowed
My filthy mother whore
The cage too narrow
To love me, walking gore

Birth leads to rape leads to birth and then ends with death

Dear god, can you set me free?
I long for your embrace
Cut me from this world where we all wait to bleed
No voice shows mercy now
And all I hear are the wretched screams of hell

Dragging on
Devouring
Though I know
What I saw
Was way worse
Than any hell
There could be
Children crushed
By their mothers own
To be fused with shit
And then flushed down low
At least they didn’t see the harvest floor

Their altar of charade

Close the final door (behind me)
Consecrate the blade (not dullened still)
They lead us to the pod (together)
The lower world now roars in the tongue of gods
Stinging pain in my lungs and my mind leaves the organic

Dragged out to the offering stand
Where already he waits, with sacred knife in hand
His eyes pierce my motionless hull as he
Stabs me through my throat, and slowly I turn blind
A final realization creeps in my mind

They will eat us raw

Through the world you forage ever forth

C-section, lights, yet another successful birth
Naked scream as you’re pulled to life from foreign will
Raised void of fear, always girded by wealth and mirth
Fitted out with capacitance and prying skill

Notions of life, that you go through mechanically
Parents hope, in education you shall never quail
But at its end waits a worrisome clarity
Understand that they built you to eventually fail

Avail!

Like snails you slithered
Thought time was not a threat
At death soon shivered
And all your life’s regret

Like snakes I slithered
Spewed forth a righteous lie
But still I withered
To age and rot and die

Like worms we slither
Towards that lapsing light
From sin delivered
But still no hope in sight

You were taught that for worth you would have to
Toil and strive to acquire what was advertised
Car, house, kids and yet still you pursue
That calf of gold, that waits sterile, lifeless, carburized

Like worms we slither
Towards that lapsing light
From sin delivered
But still no hope in sight

In your youth swore an oath to your friends that
Leaving them would be nothing less than treachery
Now in age you all wait for amends
As the TV screen overshines their fading memory

Lone, waiting there listlessly, as age comes in waves, never to leave

Hold tight and don’t look ahead
Nightly the brooding will follow
Even all that cash won’t force your kids to stay
Earning tough pills to swallow
And you just sit there and wait

You’re struggling, following, smothering,
Holding onto that thin thread that was laid out
Sleepwalk through life, in the manger you sink your snout
While the days to years route

Still grovelling, swallowing, wondering
Drivel from your phone seeds out what you won’t doubt
Blame those with less, or with more and then vanish in the crowd
Pride you only can feel when you bow

Worms small slither ‘neath ere the sunrise
Worms small soon shall realize:

You will all die alone

One last lie to pray ere the curtains fall and you then draw your last breath on this godless world

I found a hole in my garden where no neighbour sees
Six inches wide, fully blackened even in daylight
“Might be a mule”, I thought, to quell the vague sense of unease
Which a few nights later then turned into full blown fright

It just grows now, swallowed up my lawn whole
At its rim I stood and gazed down into the voiceless gloom
Try and dig till the break of dawn
still ever bigger from my window see it loom

Mere soil won’t do!
Cast knowledge, theories, all your truth
Learn, learn, push on through
All my brains and all my youth

For youth I had in spades still, and girls were there as well
With skin like silk, eyes like fountains, laps, oh, so warm, and souls so pure
They made some sounds as they fell
Yet to my greed they were no cure

Next, I amassed assets, pricey shares and richness
Pour them down with tallest engines
Loan my soul out to crank up business
Invest the profit into sumptuous pensions
Letting the neighbours witness
Leaving behind my apprehensions

Drown the hole in vanities
All that shines and all that’s new
All my childhood fantasies
Lose their taste the longer I chew

The neighbourhood was eaten by the hole while I
Resort to chemicals to channel down my aimless wrath
Phenylethylamines, hydroxyl groups and benzodiazepines
Feed its maw, my deliquescing soul, my only path

Afore the chasm alone I stand
A mirror for the sky to the horizon extends

It all just fell, widening instead of darning
Maybe if I had let it, it’d stayed six inches wide
Over this here void, there will surely break no morning
Close my eyes and take ahead a single stride

An inherited guilt I bear

My home, my haven, raised I was here
Through summers superb and winters austere
Our family’s home for generations elapsed
It was rectified, fortified, registered, taxed

But ever since I started living here alone
From the shadows now and then echoes quietly a moan
A lament without mourner, a story without teller
A naked accuser waits down in the cellar

Whispering from the walls
Lurking through the halls

I start to dream of a desiccated spring
Surrounded by skinny bodies that to it cling
With different skin and faces not like mine
I wake up drenched in sweat, suspecting a crime

So, in the cadastre I’m looking for a clue
To find this house’s worth didn’t gradually accrue
It was taken in a flash, evidence then swiftly razed
Then replaced with a new culture and haughty self-praise

Realize this was never mine
As from the walls I hear it chime

“The land you flagrantly claimed, it harbours no truth”
Voices shrill accuse, I know no excuse
For the sin in our nation’s youth

The devil in the basement, he’s screaming my name
Racks me in my dreams, while he plots and schemes
His stories of theft and rape and shame

Fear struck I run home
The air now feels noisome
All the houses look the same
And all neighbours bear my frame

Shut the door, lock it, bar windows, then rush to arms
Peek through windows, neighbours now viciously contorting forms
From below hear him, run upstairs, but still now calm
From the hall croaking, he draws near, to bear my qualm

And now I lie awake in my bed, the gun clenched in my fist as I feel:

These walls were built for a ghost, to harbour the truth
But we spoiled it all, sold out who we are
Renamed the land to find that there’s

A devil in the basement, he’s screeching my name
Knows my every groove, controls my every move
A mere pawn in his cursed game

It all has been stolen, it’s all been a lie
Millions purified cry from heavens high
Even in sleep I keep an open eye

For no one came to help me, and I am alone
From his hellish throne came so I atone
As from the corner of the room I hear him groan

Aloft his glowing eyes two horns trump, in a bellow he speaks:

“Shed thy hope
For thou are mine
No god will take thee from my arms again.”

Open the stage, for so long I've waited
Before me lies the teeming mass in their hearts frustrated
These last few years surely took their toll, I too confess
Just know that I have found the source of all your distress

You see, these neighbours there, they sin
Riches 'neath their soil, while ours are running thin
Heathen fascist scum, their land used to be our
Now they stuff their bags, while we here have to cower

In shame, all our pride they ate
So we should take it all back, and
Leave them screaming, drenched and bleeding,
Raped and beaten, filled with righteous, neverending hate

Let them swarm out

Recruiters seek the young, out from the poorest districts
While my thugs "resolve" all pressing current media conflicts
Bloggers flood the forums of all that still oppose
While my soldiers close in on the border, this tragedy unfolds

Closing in as sirens scream
Attack!

The waters redden, while we paint the sky with smoke a total black

The first few days will swiftly pass on by
In the homeland I enfold them in the sweetest lie
A few tiresome weeks, that is all that it will take
Their puny defence like sticks we'll surely break

Meanwhile through the world, my chaos spreads its wings
Alliances now form, as it multiplies and brings
Old hatred to the surface, long forgotten ire and strife
More and more shall join the table, and they all will bring a knife

High above, our God is in delight
He feasts on the terror, on the pain, the woe and fright
It is after all his work that I complete
And he'll only have enough when the whole world in blood will seethe

God eats the nations, he grinds their bones
All coiling humans who reach in vain up to his throne
He wants the violence, he brings the sword
Death he promised to all that wouldn't call him their lord

Unfortunately my plan was no success
As their forces turned out greater than how we first did assess
Since I burned all bridges that could serve for a retreat
Mobilization is the only chance to save us from defeat

Slowly the richest start to smell inland a rat
Fear the toils of war might strip them of their fat
Plots are soon woven by some trying to save their skin
As peasants then for the slaughter step in

Sons I snatch away from their mothers to slay
Their former brothers so they pay
The price for their sins in blood
Till they lie dead in the mud

Survivors traumatized,
Generations now despise
Themselves and their kind
To the truth forever we'll stay blind

Our God he eats all man, pulls him like weeds
Conjoint into hell's ovens, scholars, priests, beggars, whores and all the thieves
Behold thy maker, behold thy end
Bow, lest you yearn for plight beyond all human comprehend

It rains fire from the blackened sky
The earth is scorched, the wounded die
As hell spills, the corpses pile high
I feel salvation at long last is nigh

Get your shovel, dredge and spade
Then get to digging, feed the recess
Let the dead ones there decay
The children transgress

Kill the first born, rape the second, maim the third one, blind the fourth, fifth and sixth one bind in darkness, to last one tell a final lie

All of our truth will unravel in the face of death
So we beg our gods for some way to transcend

Frightened he observes the stranger watching
Live and from the mirror he stares back
Heightened, on alert, awake, notching
With him he fades to black

Hold on to the light, it’s fading away
All their eyes, can’t recognize them, so strung-out he’ll pray:
“Show me the way, I’m falling astray”

His kids now seldom come as his ego corrodes
Their image in his head like dying stars implodes
It went from subtle change slowly to major lapse
Risperidone coheres his mouldering psyche’s scraps

From out the shadows sound the echoes of a mouldy past
And in the light, there waits nothing but faces, sad, aghast

Now they speak of plaques clogging his thoughts
Tau proteins fold tacks piercing his ultimate source
Apoptosis leads to atrophy in gyrus cinguli
And his temporal lobe

With nightmares plagued of rotting love and bygone violence
It all comes back once faced with wretched silence

Roaming through the halls, searching what he had never owned
Leaving little notes that document delusions he bemoaned
Nurses try to tell him that that door has to stay closed
Groping one of them, before she calls the doctor

Swiftly she shall come with all her sagacious tales
Though they soon are drowned in pharmaceuticals to quell his ails
Leads him to the room where in the mirror he resides
Close the door and leave him there, soiled through thiazides

Falling out of time

A life full of life is now marching to its grave
As the images decay, bind him lastly as their slave
Alone shall he leave all those walking by his side
After their faces turned to demons from which he can never hide

Now they lurk in dark, stalking him
Around him they flock, to eat those
Remnants of his soul, so thin
The barrier to below, find out that
God has disappeared, unleashed the
Devil on his soul, tormenting
On and on and on, decease he
Yearns for this hell, which leads him towards his end

They just watch as he flails, looking on him with a frown
Once again, they know to calm him, they will surely have to
Hold him down (just a little it will hurt)
Pierce his skin (in a failing plan to)
Try to slow the path of dereliction

NMDAR inhibitors quell
Excitatory well
Fuelling the fire from which the demons

Rise, while he lies in his bed, asleep, waking
Trying to run away from this squalor
But his legs yield again and he lies aching
So again, they increase the dosage

Alas, the days have turned to years
From his head the demons finally clear
Joining them he leaves his mind as well
Shed at last this weary mortal shell

And as they see this, they decide to not let them resuscitate
Gathering ‘round his bed to take a leave and sternly cogitate
Thinking how they too one day will take his place
Knowing that all what they were will ultimately be erased

Pull all the plugs, change the sheets, bring out his corpse and lead the next one in

He too will lose his soul to turn from man to
A hairless ape in a bag under fluorescent lights that’s lying dead
