The river flowed endlessly An undulating ribbon of life that cut through the landscape like a silver thread Its waters whispered secrets to those who cared to listen Tales of forgotten dreams and hidden desires Here comes infinity Takes hold of me I wear the weight of the world in these eyes The burden of countless yesterdays and uncertain tomorrows Chains of time A solitary figure stood, his gaze fixed on the horizon The river, with its endless flow, seemed like the only escape from the chains of time Mystified, heaven and hell This fragile hour Crucified forever and ever Dehumanized, stripped of all power All the black flowers This fragile hour Melodies of sorrow and despair Sacrificed Martyrs of mercy Upon their crosses
