Visions of life and death display Things I see since childish play My eyes are closed and yet I see Those things are surely meant to be I carve the walls to show the world Crafted pictures of things absurd Standing here, now I paint A stick man, a redeeming saint Depicting the macabre! Walls are covered in mud and dirt An old room with beady eyes that flirt Memories clinging, absorbing my brain Is this a mission or just in vain Stuck on my mind like bloody leeches Voices echoes like thousand speeches The light is dim, I reach for air I feel them tighten up the snare Depicting the macabre! These thoughts will swallow me Whole I'm a peasant in a bigger role Just think it through and play it rights Feel the gut and stand the fight Falling fast in a greater Deep Flashing lights, I'm soon asleep Behold the truth, as would I But now I'm laying down TO DIE!
