Poems of a Forgotten Dream

Underneath the foliage… The foliage of Heaven. Mankind dreams away… All away its life. Where the tree of life, of all its life. Embraces the world… The world with its roots. The wisdom hidden inside… Hidden inside its trunk… Penetrates all mysteries… All mysteries of life. The strength of his presence… His divine presence. Brings even the gods, the gods to their knees. Since the dawning of Mankind, he's standing on the lookout Listening… To the plaintive voice of life and considering its every word. Nothing escapes his mighty eyes. He's the king of the land and the sea, a god amongst creatures and trees. Of all the ancient gods of time, he is the chosen one. By the lighting of the moon, a mystery's falling apart. Since the dawning of Mankind, he's standing on the lookout Listening… To the plaintive voice of life and considering, it's every word. Nothing escapes his mighty eyes. Now the king he is waiting, and watching life go by. A mystery of god's creation, there is no-one beside. Where the tree of life, of all its life. The creatures who live from his fruits, and worship his might. He is a god in this world, and a spark in the night. Everyone gathers around this wonder of light. He's the king of the world, in this forest of might. I will bring the gods, the gods to their knees.

Seized and faced with emotions of the past. I plough and suffer through a field of desire. Betrayed and deceived by my joy for life. Embraced by fear and bitterness of my life. Life the first ray of light, slumbers death in my mind. It haunts me… takes control. Steals the fear from my mind, leaves my will far behind, Insanity… takes control. Though your life seems untrue, there's so much left to do. Death… is so final. Life gives more you can get, you must never forget, There's always… another day. In my dreams I don't life to see the morning sun, finding myself drowning in a pool of misery I'm so cold, I'm so alone, I await my death with pride In this life, endless cries, how I long for peace inside. Like the call of the sirens, screams death inside my head, teardrops fall as I see your shadow in my mind. I cannot live anymore, feels as I have reached the last door. I want to die, by my own hands, lead myself to life last end. Calmness… has taken over my life Autumn… has crawled inside my heart Raining… washing all my fear away. Then dark, takes my mind. Leaves my body far behind. Trapped inside this night they call life, never to wake up, sleep an endless night. Images come and go whisper sweet words, into… a mind that can't hear at all. To find the words floating through space and time, never to reach and save my life. DEATH IS SO FINAL… DEATH IS SO FINAL… DEATH IS SO FINAL… DEATH IS SO FINAL…

Total misery… Is all I see. Pain and fear… it's all I feel. It's all I feel… The mirror cracks, like my heart broke long ago The leaves of my soul, they fall down… The coldness reaches for my heart, my hopes and dreams falling apart. The wind that blows inside my mind, leaves me standing far behind. In a landscape far away, it's my destiny to stay. All alone nothing to see, all I see is misery. Total emptiness… It surrounds me. Emptiness, silent screams. They will bury us, with flowers. Angels of delight, grab our hands. They will guide us, as we become, one… Into the valley of loneliness mankind dreams away, all away its past. Dance with me, Make me feel eternal. Take my hand, and lead my home. Sleep with me, make us both eternal. Touch my body, and make us one. Die with me, now we're both eternal. And take my hand, and lead me home.
