I have seen my life, relive it many times. Still, there was no hope of a point of contact. Still hoping to regain my long-lost memories. Strange things happen somewhere hidden in my mind. In the dark and out the reach of time. Out of time… I feel blind, but maybe time will open up my eyes. It sets me free, destroying my disguise. My disguise… I keep telling to myself, forgive me for my sins. And the silence spoke to me… And an answer never came. I keep asking for truth, the truth behind my mask. The rise and fall of nations. It brings us hate, it takes us down. It fills our lives with sorrow and disbelief. There is so much more to live for, but not for me. It drags me forth, to the river's end. Where I intent to find some piece of mind. It divides my world… In my life, there aren't dreams of perspective. And the will to continue our lives with joy. Although, it doesn't make me miserable or sad. I never thought about it, like this, before. In all ages, life has always been the same. When they say, children are the future. They will never change this world into a better place. For all to stay. We failed to respect the world with love and care. We fight against all hatred, which filled this world. Seeing mankind drowning in its own blood and misery. We've reached the point of no return, a painful tragedy. The candle doves, the night is falling soon. Maybe I'm wrong and it will be an untold future. Do I hear laughter, or is it mankind crying? My doubts are growing, my hope is gone. When I feel all hope is gone. Don't you lie now, for I will die? I've been loved by you, so I won't cry. As I feel the emptiness returning. I can't stop my heart from yearning, for a touch of heaven. As I leave this world, I can't stop thinking. The one I loved will keep on sinking, into emptiness. Sorrow for the years. We've just lived, but never loved. Going different ways but travelling on the same destination. They said we were a strange combination. Pain for the loss of all this time. All this time we were fighting each other without knowing why. Maybe they were right, we didn't want to see. But please, in these a last few minutes, hold on to me. I didn't think, It would be like this, our ending, fragile as a kiss. The moment of our farewell is painted black in my memories forever I buried myself deep within emotions. It's hard to find another solution. I know this pain will never end. I can feel it, 'cause it's a heaven send. You and I were sleepwalking over this world. Watching dreams go by. You and I, searching the moment. Seeking the truth behind the lies. And now I lay in your arms, holding you so strong. Words like how I'm missing you, are telling tales about the way our lives could have been. Oh, a future I did see. Oh, how I want you to share this moment of joy with me. The night is gone and they are tired. But the taste of victory is strong. Marching past those dreadful fires. Longing for a peaceful home. Where candles burn instead of men. Burning for their fallen friends. And children play with wooden swords. Pretending to be one of them. Streets are filled with hopeful wives. Who all proudly raise their heads. Are their loved ones still alive? Or will they sleep in empty beds. On pillows soaked with silent tears. Full of dark but lucid dreams. Now the time is almost there. To see what's become of all their fears. When I open up my eyes. These Images reflect the darkened skies. I try to hide insanity. Still trapped inside this tragedy. It's difficult to accept this new reality. Start believing my own lies. I want to believe… So listen to your heart! Is there something left… a sense of life? There is still hope… But where can it be found? You must search your entire soul! I shall try so hard… There is still some good inside. In this world I really can't exist. In the end there's nobody I've truly missed. The shadow of my past, it conquers me. I've chosen the easy path of war. Don't you walk away from me!
