From cinders black calls a vehement voice, ignites a new, the flames of resurgence. In the trenches of despair malleable moths heed the fire, succumb to its allure. Succumbing to its allure. Cacophonous conclave, a dragon upon the mount, its beguiling berseuse, berating the meek. Weaving the hex. Subversive symphony. Hysterics in the air. Murderous murmuration. Come take my lead, embrace me ever closer, two star crossed lovers under pale moonlight. Heartbeat, a rhythmic pounding. Exhilarating, dance with death. An angel, in odious form. Ensnared, hope forlorn. Innocence laid bare unknowing, unaware, to the demon I entomb, life’s essence subsumed. Wide eyes come to meet as the devil pirouettes. The adrenaline rush, when you take me in. Cold breath upon the neck, climax of ecstasy, our dance is done, under pale moonlight. Heartbeat, a rhythmic pounding. Exhilarating, dance with death. An angel, in odious form. Ensnared, hope forlorn. Howling, voice on the wind. Screams, fill the night. Manic, impassioned thrashing. Consuming your failing breath. Deeper, the malevolence sinks in penetrating the light inside. Condemned, the unforgiving reality. Darkness, our bond of fealty. Shadows stalking me as I wade through this murk called life. Haunting me, taunting me, hope is lost. Set within my mind the lurker spews forth its incantation, feeding on disparity and doubt. A veil of woe enshrouds cured upon this suffering coil. Turning to the left, to the right, desperately clawing in the night. The solemn path I tread, guide me, through the diminishing light. A noose around the neck to choke the inhaling gloom. Repulsive broken reflection set fragments in the flesh. Poison in the veins to chase away the horror. Burning guilt within and so I immolate. The end is calling, eternal night. Inviting black, cloaked manipulator. Self deceiver lead on. Standing here upon the cusp, life still clings to this forlorn soul. Hope, as dying embers, with one final breath before the plunge. And so, the epitaph shall read: a silent voice of anguish dragged into the void. Writhing in this turmoil tormented to the core, seeking emancipation, on life I close the door.
